yves stands 6 feet tall with natural blond hair and brown eyes he tailors for himself every now and then. one of his distinct features are his dimples which he loves showcasing. his wardrobe staples have to be hoodies, cardigans and vests. he is never seen without his heart pendant his adoptive mother gifted him on his 6th birthday.

venusian form.

yves has pearlescent skin with soft pink eyes without irises, his skin offers a shimmer when under the light of venus. he stands 8 feet tall with slightly pointy ears and slightly webbed hands and feet. he has almost white-ish blond hair. upon arriving on earth, his body naturally took the form of a human but if he wishes so, he can turn back to his venusian form anytime.

personality.

yves exhibits a warm, welcoming aura. though soft spoken and well mannered, yves can be a bit stubborn when it comes to his beliefs and has a hard time being convinced otherwise. he is very talkative, especially about the topic of love and probably cats as well. he thrives in outings and spends most of his time either in a library or a park when not at his parents' cottage. despite being a warm cinnamon roll, it is hard to compete with his ego (all in fun, of course). he does not tolerate any form of disrespect and does not hesitate on cutting people off if they do so β€” he likes having his friend circle composed of selective people.

there are different forms of love, love for your partner, love for your parents, love for your children; your friends, love for the dead even, that needs protection and awareness. if gone unguarded, it could create some terrible problems for the realm. some rather special venusians were appointed long ago to protect love, as it is one thing that we all live for. it is one of those things that finds us in small sneaky ways, whether we're looking for it or not.yves was not born to protect romantic love. frankly enough, no one knew why he was there in the first place. until the word came around, that their realm was threatened. the protectors of love can't die, but they can be captured. they can be rid of their power so they may no longer be able to protect the power that binds the universe together.

separated from his homeland, stranded on a ground he had read only so little about, with strange people. humans. he was the youngest of the lot, and it felt like he had the most pressure on him. "this isn't my job. i was never destined for this, i wasn't born to protect this form of love." the thought formed a looped chorus in his head everytime he faced a difficulty. he was alone. this wasn't his destiny to begin with.but you can't run away from your fate, and neither could yves. either you welcome it with open arms or it will hunt you down. how many years had it been since he was sent to earth? he can't remember. but he does know that he has already wasted a lot of time in grieving his unfazed fate.

the lore of venus.

✦mind manipulation. it's fairly easy to get things done by some people if yves wants to. he can alter the messages of the brain's neurons to get them to do whatever he needs them to. though, he scarcely uses it, he's only ever used it for the betterment of people.✦ tailoring. yves can change his eye and hair colour with the help of the colours of certain substances. the changes only last for a few days, so he has to do it quite frequently. he can also heal scars, lighten up spots on the surface of skin. all the effects of his tailoring are temporary, he can't do major changes on the face.

✦ hypersensitive senses. yves can feel, hear and see more than what a normal human can. he can hear people's heartbeats and pulses, identify people with the rhythm of their heart. he can catch the barest whisper leaving people's mouth. he can see the slight traces of tension or terror in their faces. he can smell the humans' scent, he can tell where it lingers, how intense it is (indicating their presence).✦ spell casting. there are a limited amount of spells yves is allowed to use. most of them include to slow down pulses or heartbeats β€” not to kill people, but enough to make unconscious.
